A day after Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s killing was confirmed in attacks by the United States and Israel, Iran continues to strike US assets across the Gulf region.

The US and Israel launched strikes on Iran on Saturday while talks between Washington and Tehran over Iran’s nuclear programme were ongoing. Iran hit back the same day with missile and drone attacks across the region, including targets in Israel as well as US military assets in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
